With your generosity this holiday season, Tri-CETA's gift wrapping raised $2,000 in funds for our Employment Training Academies.
We were able to several new computers to help with our education and employment readiness programs.
The Tri-Cities Employment Training Academy (Tri-CETA), in the NewPark Mall in Newark, CA grew out of a community need for employment training services and job readiness programs for youth. This year alone, over 200 young people have accessed services from individualized tutoring, to participation in our GED program to graduating from our Blueprint for Success Curriculum, to participating in our inaugural PHAT program (Peer Health Advocate Trainer).
Since starting operations in November 2009, Tri-CETA has established both formal and informal working relationships with the New Haven Unified School District (NHUSD), the Tri-Cities and Ohlone One Stops, and General Growth Properties, Inc., NewPark Mall’s management company.
Our goal over the next three years is to further develop these and additional partnerships to provide a full service array of employment readiness training, leading to channels of opportunities in Employment, Education and Empowerment for young people ages 14-24.
We have monthly Workshops covering varies topics about employment and education. For our current schedule click HERE
Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 10:00-6:30pm, Friday 9:00-5:30pm
