Southland Employment Training Academy (SETA)

At SETA, we strive to prepare youth 14-24 years old to be highly competitive for entry level position in the job market while planning and preparing for their education and career paths. We help young people with the following: 
  • Create job search strategies and communicate effectively with potential employers.
  • Understand professional etiquette and work culture involving e-mail, social networking, ring back tones, etc.
  • Gain a better understanding of healthy financial practices.
  • Gain a better understanding of youth and employee rights.
  • Understand the connection between education and employment (job v. career).

  • We have monthly Workshops covering varies topics about employment and education.

SETA 2010-2011 Class Schedule: 
Blueprint Workshops are held twice a week. You can join at anytime during these session dates:
Session 1 11/2/10—2/15/11, Tuesday and Thursday, 4-6pm
Session 2 2/22/11—5/19/11, Tuesday and Thursday, 4-6pm
